This is an estimate, not a bill. Only your distribution company can tell you what you owe. If the figure here and the figure on your bill disagree, your bill is the one that counts.
This is an independent, personal project. It is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with NEPRA, PITC, IESCO, LESCO, FESCO, MEPCO, GEPCO, PESCO, HESCO, SEPCO, QESCO, TESCO, HAZECO, K-Electric, the Government of Pakistan, or any of their agencies. Those names are used only to identify the organisations concerned, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
This site cannot accept payments, register complaints, change your tariff, correct a meter reading, or act on your account in any way. For any of that, contact your distribution company directly.
The calculator is built from published NEPRA notifications and verified against real bills, and it is kept current in good faith. Even so, tariffs change, notifications are amended, adjustments are billed in arrears, and individual connections carry circumstances the model does not know about. The figures are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.
The estimate covers standard residential connections. It does not attempt to model arrears, instalment plans, net metering, late-payment surcharges, detection bills, or commercial, agricultural and industrial tariffs.
The autofill feature retrieves a bill from the official public PITC portal on your behalf. By using it you confirm that the reference number or customer ID you enter is your own or that you have permission to look it up. Do not use the feature to look up other people's connections, and do not attempt to automate, script or bulk-query it — lookups are rate-limited, and abusive traffic will be blocked.
Autofill depends on a third-party portal that we do not control. It may be slow, unavailable, or changed without notice, and no undertaking is given that it will keep working.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of this site is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the calculator or anything published here — including financial decisions taken on the basis of an estimate. Use your own judgement, and check your actual bill.
The site is free and is funded by advertising served through Google AdSense. Ads are supplied by third parties; their appearance here is not an endorsement of the advertiser or its product. How advertising cookies work, and how to opt out, is set out in the privacy policy.
The tariff figures and legal instruments referred to here are public information. The explanatory writing, design and code of this site are the work of its author; please do not republish them wholesale. Linking to the site, quoting it with attribution, or telling people what their electricity actually costs is entirely welcome.
These terms may be updated; the date at the top will change when they are. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
